Takaoka Toko has been a pioneer in the development and sale of quick chargers for electric vehicles and has the largest share (about 40%) of the domestic market. Leveraging its technology and expertise accumulated over many years, the company offers an extensive range of EV charging solutions to support an EV society, help build a decarbonized society, and help implement global warming mitigation measures.

large amount of renewable energy is expected to be introduced to the power grid around 2030. The technology research and development project for dealing with power grid fluctuations is aimed at building a grid system that can maximally utilize renewable energy by means of output prediction and control of renewable energy equipment and cooperative operation, and control of thermal (diesel) and other conventional power sources and energy storage devices such as secondary batteries. In this project, demonstration testing was conducted through interconnection with an actual grid to configure equipment and establish operation techniques that are optimal for reducing social costs to a minimum level. The findings obtained from this project will be used to help build an eco-friendly, carbon-free society.

The unstable power generated by renewable energy can be efficiently used to produce hydrogen as a source of clean CO2-free energy. The produced hydrogen is intended to stabilize the power grid. More specifically, by developing a system that controls power fluctuations associated with renewable energy, we aim to stabilize the power grid by virtue of power-to-gas technology producing, storing, and utilizing hydrogen.

Public-private partnership (PPP) refers to a program in which the public and private sectors collaborate to provide public services. PPP includes PFI, the designated administrator system, commercialization testing, and Design-Build-Operate (DBO), as well as comprehensive work consignment to the private sector and the outsourcing of municipal services.
We will provide services from the customer’s point of view through thorough analysis of customer needs without rigidly adhering to conventional merchandise, commercial distribution practices, or markets.

Aiming for a carbon neutral society, we will create new businesses to meet demand for DX-EGA and advanced and diverse uses of energy, utilizing a multicloud environment and developing a common IoT infrastructure.
